IF YOU HAVE READ THAT PEOPLE COULDN'T GET THE HANDLE BAR TO WORK ITS BECAUSE IT HAS A SENSOR AND IT HAS TO BE IN FRONT OF THE HELMET...I HESITATED BUYING IT BECAUSE OF REVIEWS AND REALIZED THAT PEOPLE WERE NOT READING INSTRUCTIONS. WORKS GREAT AND MY 4 YEAR OLD LOVES IT!

This gun worked great for the first few shots. Then it began tearing up the foam darts and jamming. Within an hour, almost every dart was damaged and the gun jammed up on more than half of the shots.

This was very disappointing to my son, who had saved for months to buy it. We were happy that we were able to easily return it to the store we purchased from.

We know of two other families that have this gun, and they have had okay performance from it. I guess we're just unlucky -- but beware that you could be unlucky too!

My son got this kit for his 10th birthday six months ago. Both of his folks are electricians, so he naturally has a lot of curiosity. It's seen hours of use, by a bunch of boys ages 8 to 10. On the down side, one of the pegs on the board has snapped off (doesn't affect performance), and the speaker has been a bit troublesome (sometimes loud enough, sometimes too quiet).

On the up side, the issues have been minor, and the pieces are surprisingly durable. The kids are learning to troubleshoot their work, checking for loose connections and misplaced devices. The "blueprints" for each of the circuits are very clear. The snap-together, modular design is far less cumbersome for young hands than any of the other lab kits I've seen. There's a surprising variety of components in this small kit, and enough circuit plans to keep the boys entertained for hours at a time.

My daughter recieved this as a gift and I was pretty skeptical, but lo and behold -- we successfully raised all ten caterpillars and released them as adult butterflies. You don't need to feed or interact with the caterpillars: they come in transparent sealed containers with their own food. This means that kids can't play with them (my daughter was disappointed that her new pets couldn't walk on her fingers) but also means that you do not need to deal with the mountains of caterpillar poop that they produce.

When they pupate, you open the containers and pin the lids (where they instinctively attach themselves) inside the pavillion. Everything the insructions say will happen does, in fact, happen, and within a week or so your beautiful painted lady butterflies emerge. We kept ours for a few days and then set them free -- a satisfying experience from start to finish.

The whole system is extremely well thought out and the instructions are clear. Be sure to visit Insect Lore's web site, because it's full of helpful information and tips -- our pupas were wiggling and rocking alarmingly, and their FAQs anticipated the question and explained why they do that.

My only quibble is that the sugar water solution we fed to the butterflies tended to soak through the floor of the pavilion, making a sticky mess -- we had to put an old towel underneath. Otherwise, this was a smashing success and my kid can't wait to order another batch of caterpillars.

This game is just suitable for all ages and great fun to be played with family and friends in a short sitting. Monopoly is fun, but it can take too long. The game of life has a definitive ending and you can judge the progress rather easily. So planning for dinner becomes simpler. Through playing this game, you can teach your kids about a lot of things in life, such as investments and decision making.

I bought this toy in a spirit of Hope. Hope in the future. Hope in Democracy. Hope in higher taxes for the rich. I did not expect to receive Hope from Arkansas. While this new toy does not resemble the last toy I received from this manufacturer, I was surprised that it came with many of the same accessories. I mean, would you expect Barbie and Skipper to share Ken? Barack even came with the same baggage the last toy had. But I remain ever hopeful. I truely believe that this toy will deliver. I just wish it would stop asking me for money.

This is a fun card game that is good for the whole family. Easy for younger ones to understand.

My son's special needs teacher recommended this, and we love it. My son sings the letters and has made great progress. I am glad I bought it.
