This toy is really cute! My kids (3 and 5) love it. My husband had no problems putting it together (besides the fact the kids were bugging him at the time)and it seems pretty durable to me. I did test it by half jiggling the bridge and the side came off but that was easy to put back. But it's not coming off with normal play. I love how the bridge drops down and the train comes through the waterfall. It would be cool to have real water but that would be very messy.

We love this game! Our whole family enjoys it, from our 4-year-old granddaughter, to the teenagers, to the grandparents. It's a great way to span the generations and spend a snowy day together.

Even after reading the cautionary reviews here, I still hoped that the "cullen crest" would have a dark blue background as shown in the product picture above, but it is indeed all steel. However, it's still a lovely collector's piece from the movie/book that is slightly heavy in feel and seems to be extremely durable. I was originally going to use it as a keyring but have decided instead to place it on a black purse I have. It adds a nice to touch to it and I love how it looks! I just wish that the back of the crest as well as the apple and heart were not solid so that when it turns around you'd still see the images. However, despite those two flaws mentioned, I enjoy it as a bagclip. BUT PLEASE, buy this used. I paid $6.99 for this item yet Amazon's charging all kinds of ridiculous prices for it now. It's worth what I paid for it but not much more.

My 26 month old daughter loves to play with this set. She also uses pieces of mushrooms and pepper to cook soup in a small pot.

Let me start this by saying that my daughter LOVED this. She talked about it, was excited about it, really obsessed with it. She couldn't wait for the little toy to come out and spent a lot of time between when she bought it and when the toy came out thinking about which one it would be.
Unfortunately, that isn't much time, and that's my problem with this toy. We purchased it from KMart at 5 pm, she played it for approximately 45 minutes in the car on the way home. She then played it for about 20 minutes the next morning and then about 30 minutes after school. That's when the toy came out.
After the toy emerges, the packaging clearly states, the electronic game has "limited play value." So for 19.99, my daughter got less than two hours of play from it. She does have the little stuffed animal, but hasn't played with the electronic game part for more than 10 minutes since it opened. The stuffed animal is small and appears cheaply made. It has the appearance of one of the "small prizes" you might win at a fair game. I haven't seen it either since the day she got it.
Whoever came up with this is a marketing genius, however. You choose from several colors of Meeba canisters and within each canister color range, there are several possible Meebas that can emerge. So your child can't pick which animal she will get: it's random luck. My luck, my daughter didn't get any of the the Meebas she wanted so of course, she wants another one of these.
I would not recommend this to others for two reasons: limited play time for the amount of money spent and there is a chance that your child will be disappointed in the toy that comes out and start asking for another. I do not plan on buying any more of these.
I am giving it two stars based on how into it she was before it opened.

This board was a huge hit with my son. Smooth ride. Love the design. It has gotten many hours of use, and I've even tried it! Great board, and would definitely recommend.
