I feel funny reviewing books that are older than I am (this was published in 1967), but I will share what I thought. I thought this was a cute story, and I don't know how I missed this one when I was young...it seems like it would have been just my style! And, except for a few details (such as how much things cost and the fact that Claudia wears a petticoat), it doesn't feel like it's outdated. I thought a couple of parts were particularly funny, like when Claudia and Jamie find an unopened candy bar on the ground, and Jamie wants to eat it. Claudia says "You better not touch it. It's probably poisoned or filled with marijuana, so you'll eat it and become either dead or a dope addict." How funny!

My 8yr old loves this toy. All the kids can interact with each others animals. Make money to buy things, give gifts, and take care of their animal. Lots of fun.

I'm so excited to see Twilight Friday Morning!!! I had to be sure I'd receive this before I go to the showing. The crest is riveted into place on a piece of leather about 2.5 inches wide and maybe 7 inches long. The closure is a leather thong (which I readjusted a little so it was more comfortable.) The crest (on my cuff anyway) has a dark black back ground and just the right amount of faux patina on the high relief. I highly recommend this item for any fan of the Cullen boys.

This is a classic inexpensive game that should be in any house where kids live or visit. This and a couple other games have been enjoyed by my nieces and nephews when they visit and helps prevent any possible boredom if, like me, you are a proponent of leaving the tv off.

When I told my older son's I was getting this for my 8 year old, they thought I should get one of the new Lego sets, you know like star wars... I can remember spending hours upon hours with my Lego's when I was a kid. We didn't have no 'sets'. We used our imagination. Not many toys let you do this today.

So I went ahead and got this for my son who has everything and he hasn't stopped playing with them yet. He spends hours putting together his own little Lego men (armies) and builds his little Lego tanks, planes and ships and battles all day. Sure, this isn't one of the fancy sets. You know, the kind kids play with and then stick on a shelf when they have completed it. You never complete this set. I continues on as long as you have imagination.

While, I am not putting down the sets. I just think toy manufactures have run out of ideas. But hey, lets get back to the basics and let our kids grow. This was one of the best gifts I have ever gotten my son and he has already used more than any other (except his gaming systems).

Oh, and my older sons... They can't keep their hands off of them.

My son loves legos, he has almost all of the sets to all of the collections! Beats the video games and keeps him busy for hours!

I bought two of these sets. Both my five year old grandson and my three year old neighbor, who is hospitalized with a bone marrow transplant, loved this set. It was especially good for the youngster hospitalized and quite sick because he could manage it in bed!

My daughter is webkinz-holic! I can see why because each webkinz she adopts gives her a sense of responsibility. Not to mention it's fun. She can play for hours. She even got her classmates hook on it!

If your kids love Hot Wheels, then this is great! My 7 & 4 year old love it! So many ways to set up the tracks, makes my 7 year old really think. We'll definitely be purchasing more additions for X-mas.

This games is very simple to play and very simple to setup. It only takes about 3 minutes to understand the concept and start playing the game. I can not think of any other word games that has as much educational value and fun other than the "Scrabble" which is another classic game. It is also very inexpensive.
